  • I often get inspiration to create art from being around children as a substitute teacher. This is a second grade student who was content and satisfied with himself after studying hard for an hour for an upcoming Math test. Nothing distracted him from being focused on completing 20 addition problems. He deserved to relax after he had solved 17 out of 20 addition problems correctly. I quickly sketched this student taking his study break, and I transformed the sketch to this digital artwork in the Paint program on my computer.
