Children Also Inspire My Artwork

As I profiled in my Biography, I am a retired teacher and I currently substitute teach. I taught for 25 years- students in grades Pre-K,K,1,2, and these are the grades that I now substitute teach. I often find myself quickly sketching students while they are engaged in reading, studying, writing, feeding a class pet, or just taking a rest break from studying. I then transform my sketches into digital art form using the Paint program on my computer. In addition to students inspiring me to create art, observing children outside of the school setting gets my creative juices flowing. I sketch children doing activities that interest me to recreate digitally- babies are my particular weakness. Please view my Galleries for my many artworks of children in school settings, and children doing other actions. I would appreciate other artists sharing with me who or what inspires you to create your art.

Thank you, and I look forward to your comments.
