Biography
I'm a high school art teacher by profession and that's a career I've known I wanted to pursue since the early days of my own high school education. I've taught at three different schools in two separate cities, but I believe I've found my home at Washburn Rural High School just outside of Topeka. My course load includes Intro to Art, Drawing, Painting, and Graphic Design. Although most art teachers usually consider introductory courses a bit tedious, I have always enjoyed being one of the first faces students see in the art department. I love the opportunity to get new students excited about art, especially students that might not have otherwise been interested.
