Hi, I'm a Cajun girl from South Louisiana. I paint mostly Louisiana landscapes. I also paint murals. I paint in acrylics, and oils. I love drawing in pen and ink and do enjoy pastels, and also I paint on glass. I also love to illistrate greeting cards and love to photograph the bayous of Louisiana. I have my art for viewing and for sale at Big Al's Seafood Restaurant in Houma, Louisiana. Big Al's is located at 1377 W.Tunnel Blvd.

Biography
I am a Christian, age 54. I have 2 years of College. I attended USL at Lafayette Louisiana, and also Bessemer Alabama Techinal College. Majored in Fine Arts, and Advertising and Design. Also took Photography. Most of the art I paint comes from personal experiences. I usually paint scenes I have keep deep inside from my childhood and upbringing. As a child I was raised on the bayous, my father was a shrimper and a fur trapper. Therefore I am really familiar with living in the swamps of Louisiana. I love children and sometimes give lessons to children. My art can be scene at Big Al's Seafood Restaurant in Houma, La. Many of my art pieces are available to purchase, some have been sold already on this site. However some are still availabe, the newest pieces shown. I paint from photographs, but prefer to paint outdoors. However I can't always do that. I do commission work. So if you'd like me to do a special painting for you, please contact me. My prices are fair, and I paint from my heart. I have a slogen I love to say," I am driven to paint, it makes my soul glow!"
