Roger Tarleton About

his retirement from a major corporation
and was encouraged by the sale of
fourteen of his first 26 paintings.

Biography
Tarleton grew up in the rural Appalachian mountains and developed an early appreciation of scenic beauty and
nature which prompted a natural talent.
The purchase of some art materials and books was the starting point of a second career. Roger paints whatever inspires him at the time and he works rapidly with background music for more
inspiration. Years of travel for business and pleasure have filled his memory with visual inspiration from all parts of the world, and he and his wife look forward to many happy years of travel and participation in art events.
