Debi Angilletta About
I live in the village of Scotia, NY with my husband, two daughters (and our two cats Pookie and Floyd). My artwork is constantly evolving and is influenced by a number of sources. I have wonderful memories of my childhood home and the Irish culture of Tipperary Hill in Syracuse, NY. Weekends and summers spent at my grandparents farm near Sylvan Beach, NY contributed to my love of landscapes and wildlife. I have lived in the Capital District NY area for many years and I am fortunate to be able to make frequent trips to the Adirondacks for additional inspiration.I love the use of rich color and my style continues to change now that I am painting every day. I have so many ideas just waiting to be put on canvas. I have always been intrigued by the play of light and shadows and the wonder of color. I love the way light illuminates and captures a feeling or memory for a sliver of time...when the light changes the moment is gone. Using expressive style and rich color, I strive to recreate the magic of these moments and hopefully share these feeling with others through my paintings.I am excited to see where my artistic journey will lead me.
I not only take pride in my work, but also in the craftsmanship of my paintings. I use only archival paints and supports and take great care to make sure your completed painting is professional in every way.All acrylic paintings are sold varnished to protect the colors that caught your eye to begin with.Paintings that are framed will have an additional price ranging from $15 to $45,depending on if it is wood or metal.I do not charge extra for the frame. The frame price is my cost with nothing added on.
