Crystal Eye Feather Bone Spine Ocean Eagle Goblin

With a sharp beak of an eagle this sculptural mobile displays a very simple fan of water and ocean colors as if it has dived into the shallows to hunt. Yet with a structural spine of bits of bone, shell feathers and a crystal eye this raptor seems sent from a prehistoric time. The Goblin Series are glass mobile sculptures that take on characteristics of swimming fish, flying birds, or lizard dragons of mythological design. They are simple fans of color that are decorated with glass shards or beads to help fill out the body. Then a particular broken shard is used to create a face giving life to a swimming/flying creature from our deepest imagination.
