Jewelry artistically created in clay, seedbeads, crystals, semiprecious stone and metals. 1 comment

As soon as my mother put a crayon in my hand, I loved the creative scribbles and colors I could see on the paper. I enjoyed filling in different areas of the scribble to make designs.

As I studied art through high school, I didn't see a future in art, as I knew it. While attending college, I learned of a design school for clothing and decided to learn pattern making. I enjoyed the drafting and worked for two manufacturers in the clothing industry. I had a custom bridal business while staying home with my children.

A few years ago, I attended a class in Japanese seed beads and enjoyed making jewelry for friends. As I took more classes in various techniques, my jewelry became more desirable. I started to sell and teach classes using my own designs.

I enjoy the methods of sewing small Japanese seed beads with semi-precious stones, shining Swarovski crystals, and anything in between. Now wire sculpture and metal clay have added a new dimension as well.

Creativity is never boring!
