Another of my favorite Bible verses is Psalm 90:12.Quote--[So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto Wisdom] As I was painting this sunset with my acrylic on canvas--I was thinking about what this verse meant to me. It really made me realize that I have many more paintings that I would love to do. I want each day to count for my goal--but also I want each day to give me wisdom to do it. Also it all depends on how I use that wisdom and realize that the Bible says to number our days--As I get older, I realize that serving the Lord is more important as each day goes by. He alone, gives me each day to live here on earth. Think about it. Millie

you never cease to amaze me with all the variety, beauty and creativity in your paintings. Most artists are happy to develop one style that represents their work, but you constantly surprise us with new styles, techniques and approaches. Your colors are stunning. You have something for everyone. And every one of your paintings reveals something beautiful and special about you, the artist. You are as marvelous and beautiful as any of your paintings.

Your loving daughter,

Millie -- Your newest works are different, which perhaps stems from your inspiration. Certainly your colors and brushstrokes are more vivid, more passionate. I wonder if it is because you have side-stepped the "market-place mentality" and opened up to some deeper, resonant force that is important to you as a person and as an artist?

Keep it up!!! "When Day is Done" took my breath away -- :~)
