YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO PAINT. I am 97 years old and still painting. I have been painting 92 years I was 5 years old when I first started with crayons and a pad of paper. Next I tried pastels, oil, acrylic and last of all Watercolor. I have done a lot of paintings over the years. I find that a desire is the beginning, then comes passion to paint, but most of all, it is the LOVE to create something that you alone have done. A little bit of how GOD felt when He created the world. Instead of sitting around all day bored with life, due to the fact that you are unable to do the things you used to do, pick up a brush and PAINT. DUE to the last 3 years I have had to put it on hold, but I am painting again. The painting on this blog is a sample of 8"/10" on canvas board. I have done 50 this year. I call them Modern Contemporary abstract. I just sit down and let go, Colors and shapes. What a joy it is to PAINT!!!!! This is a sample of my MODERN COMTEMPORARY ABSTRACTS. I put some on eBay. Look me up. MILLIE

I watched your painting demo of "A Secret Place". So awesome. So free. So surprising. You convey such life in all you do. I so enjoy your art. Linda G
