The World Comes to Cape Town
This is a painting of "The World," the large cruise ship, as it comes into Cape Town, South Africa's harbour. The beautiful sunset behind Table Mountain literally shimers in the Atlantic Ocean, with the vibrant colours reflect back on "The World." This wonderful impressionistic acrylic painting is alive with colour and a joy to view. In the distance in the middle of the painting are the new luxury condo's built along the Waterfront with the city of Cape Town in the distance. Beautifully detailed, the painting is almost three dimensional and one can see and almost hear the ripples in the water as it flows past this magnificent ship in the sunset at Cape Town's Waterfront. The original is gallerly wrapped, but can easily be dismantled and rolled in a heavy cardboard tube for safe and reasonable shipment. This work is also available as a beautiful limited edition, giclee impression on canvas, starting at $125.00. Each is numbered, signed and hand-embellished by the artist with his own varnish and paint technique. Thus, each canvas impression is a unique work of art and valuable as an investment piece.
