Winchester Fountain
This courtyard fountain has offered me a quiet, peaceful place to have lunch with friends and family for years. Located in the inner courtyard of the beautiful Winchester Mansions Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa, it seemed appropriate to paint this idyllic scene in the location of my first one-man exhibition in South Africa. In this detailed painting, you can almost hear the water dripping from the fountain, as you become overwhelmed by the colour of the bouganvilla vines as they cascade from above. This beautiful acrylic painting measures 60cm by 80cm o 23 3/4" by 31 1/2" It is gallery-framed, but can easily be removed and rolled in a cardboard tube for safe and reasonable shipment. This work is also available as a beautiful limited edition, giclee impression on canvas, starting at $75.00. Each is numbered, signed and hand-embellished by the artist with his own varnish and paint technique. Thus, each canvas impression is a unique work of art and valuable as an investment piece.
