Gary Peterson here at Artid wrote in his blog about this painting, "Landscape painters traditionally use earth-tones that are "rich" and "fertile," but Wolf Kahn's pastel forests are luminescent frissons of foliage. They are joyful. So is Mary Exline's piece, "Snowshoe, WVA."
