In an ongoing exhibit this painting was selected as viewers' favorite. This is a painting of the lovely canal in the area of Washington, DC and Maryland on an early autumn day, and a perfect time for a leisurely stroll. The warm afternoon sunlight cast dappled light on the canal path with reflections of trees and sunlight on the water. Acrylic on canvas and framed. Framed size: 25" w x 21" h Unframed size: 24" w x 20" h

Mary, I love this painting! I have been riding my bike countless times on the canal and have just been thrown right back onto my bike!!!
Thank you!

Lovely sweeping depth to this landscape. I also enjoy the lighting effects you have caught here in our local area.
