I began painting this piece a number of years ago, and was nearly finished, but I was not completely satisfied with it. I put it away, and would look at it every year almost, but just couldn't seem to finish it. Then, just recently a friend of mine hung it on the wall, and there was something about it that inspired me to put the life into it that I felt was missing. With the new inspiration, I was able to bring the painting to completion.

This painting depicts mountains and evergreen trees with grasses that have turned golden in the fall of the year, and all is reflected in the water. The unframed size is 24" × 18."
