Sunset Pathway

The pathway runs between an evergreen forest and a grassy field to the right. The light is very dim as the sun is set to go down in the next few moments, so the pathway is still visible and is lit by the fading sunlight at the top of the hill. The painting is in a horizontal format on wrapped canvas and painted on the sides, and not needing to be framed. It has a deep mood effect with colors of peach and yellow, viridian green, sage green, and orange. The sun at the end of the path gives off a soft light. The whole painting is very effective in a dimly lit room. The message of the painting is spiritual and is a metaphor about the holy spirit who lights our pathway. The field on the right is a reminder that we are the sheep of His pasture. Like the evergreen trees that live on never shedding their leaves, we as believers in Jesus will have eternal life. Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Telego.
