Meadow in Blue and Yellow
Pastel on location. My aim was to change colors to convey a different feeling. We've had a lovely early spring in Maine this year, but I wanted to create a series of paintings that is not about local color, but more about composition and emotional content. And one of my favorite combos is yellow and blue.
