- Miss Nora owned a store on Maryland's Lower Eastern Shore. She was the subject of a MPT Documentary about the elderly earning a living in rural areas of Maryland. I didn't know of this when I took this picture. I was enroute to a photo-shoot and stopped to have me a soda-pop, refill my tank with gas, having been on the road for several hours. I had a delightful conversation with Miss Nora, and after drinking my soda-pop, asked if'n she would oblige a picture of her in front of her store. Miss Nora passed away in 1998.
