Autumn Light #1 (2005)

One of my all time favorite paintings. "Autumn Light #1" is a more traditional approach to landscape painting. I simply wanted to create a place where one can escape into an infinite glowing autumn. For me the painting is also symbolic of the passing of time and the passage to one place to another. The place beyond the stairway is unknown but offers escape and reflection. The original painting comes varnished in acrylic and is framed in a gold sectional frame for protection. The image is also published in 2 poster prints that have a 2 inch textural border. The prints are available in 18x24 & 8x10 inches.
