Art For Earth About
I have been inspired to draw and sketch by the beauty of nature since before I was 10 years old. I feel driven to create a body of work that represents God's wondrous creatures and amazing planet and those who live upon it. I give at least 10% of my income and usually more to causes helping conservation and disaster relief, as well as helping children to be healthy and to receive supplies such as clean water and medicines.
My art studies began in high school, but were put on hold as I pursued a career as a vegetarian chef. Food has a beauty that nourishes, and the creating of it was fulfilling, but did not encompass my passion for creating lasting works of art. After having spent years in Alaska, Washington State, and now, Colorado, I have been exposed to inspiring areas, some quite remote. While in Alaska, I took several workshops with talented professional artists who are well-known in the area, such as Douglas Girard, Gail Moses, and Marjorie Blalock. I am currently studying at the London Art College in Pet Portraiture. Thank you again for your visit, and please contact me with any questions you may have.
