Kimono with Ginkgo Leaf inprints

I had a large piece of gorgeously draping, cognac brown fabric, perhaps silk. The fabric called out to be imprinted with Ginkgo leaves. Each leaf was care-fully painted with varigated shades of metallic textile inks. I created two Kimonos so far, one was already sewn, this one here I sewed. It has a black heavy organza lining. The hem is airbrushed with murky dark green dye. Metallic brush strokes add depth to the composition.

This is beautiful, both in shade, design and construction.

I'd love to buy one.
