Accepted into the Horizontal Grandeur show in Morris, MN, 6/28 - 8/31, 2010. In western Iowa there are huge farm fields and the eye can roam for miles. An approaching storm tinted the weeds red in the foreground. The light was astounding. It is framed in blond maple 1.5 in. deep. Turin was named for the Italian immigrants who died there in a landslide moving the loess hills onto the fields.
