These invitations have been designed for children's birthday parties and coordinate with my birthday cards, thank you notes, and prints using the same illustrations. This is one of the boy's sports; please check my gallery for all the boy's and girl's designs… Continue reading… 0 comments

Created from my original watercolors, this print celebrates a young child's awkward, yet enthusiastic, approach to sports. All of the sports prints shown in my Gallery are the result of many hours of sketching over a period of 8 years. The idea was conceived in 2007-8 but before too much had been accomplished, Fate intervened in the form of my husband's illness and then his death in 2010. While getting back into the swing of things, commissioned work had priority and serious effort on the prints was not resumed until 2014… Continue reading… 0 comments

I enjoy illustrating children's names with my various alphabet designs. I work from notebooks filled with my basic alphabet letters for girls, boys, sports, ballerinas, fairies, and cheerleaders. Many letters have more than one design so if a name contains two of the same letter, each letter will be different. If you order more than one name I try my best to not use any letter more than once in the total order. This could be significant if the names are going to the same household; each child would have their own design. Full details are in my Children's Wall Art Gallery; ordering information in my Ordering/Payment Gallery. I often "tweak" each letter as the name develops, changing hairstyles, shoes, clothing, so each piece of artwork will be unique… Continue reading… 0 comments

"Sugar and spice and everything nice; that's what little girls are made of ..." Do people say that any more? I've updated my approach to girls' names by including sports or other activities not typically considered "girly". These names are all original art, created when the order is placed. They may be personalized with activities particular to the child and colored to match room decor… Continue reading… 0 comments

This watercolor is a custom designed child's name, painted in the style of my alphabet names but using the theme of "cheerleader", as requested by the client. This very personal gift was painted with team colors. If requested, I would have added the team mascot as well. Please visit my ArtId gallery for more details on all of my children's names… Continue reading… 0 comments

An example of a name painted from my girls' alphabet. Each one is painted at the time of the order and no two are alike. The letters and coloring will vary even if the name is the same. Color requests to match room decor are no problem… Continue reading… 0 comments

Have you ever been at the beach and noticed storm clouds in the distance? You keep hoping the rain will blow in the other direction! Our little friend hasn't quite finished her sand castle and hopes the rain won't spoil her afternoon… Continue reading… 0 comments

A young lady living in California was the inspiration for the watercolor from which this print was made. Her grandmother gave some photographs to a mutual friend and this was the result. Though feeding wildfowl is prohibited in many areas, she's enchanted by the gulls and offers a snack of potato chips… Continue reading… 0 comments
