Before viewing them through a creative lens, tulips never seemed to be more than just beautiful flowers to me. Now, after hours of examening them from different viewpoints and lighting conditions I see them as magnificent, sensual playgrounds for artistic expressions. The name "2lips" on this set of images came from the insight that the word "tulips" could be expressed in a manner that more accurately described the sensual feelings they evoked in viewers who claimed "the tulips were kind of sexy". My husband came up with the idea that I could spell "tulips" like "2Lips", to discern mine from others. And so it is.
