Night of the Autumn Fairies
This was all-out fantasy. Everyone who came to the museum while I worked on it saw something different. I matted it with four mats, and framed it in a rich gold wood frame. The beaded netting and columns took many hours. (Note: the columns do not show as this is a closeup so main details can be seen. Both sides of the picture have 1.25" beaded columns in ivory, burnt sienna and gold from top to bottom. Ask for an email of the full picture.) Other techniques included painting, stenciling, drawing, and much layering. Materials include ink, watercolor, ribbon, beads, crystals, lace, beaded material from India, and much more.
