Coca Cola Chicago

This image depicts a flashing moment on the Kennedy Expressway on Chicago's westside near North Avenue. The original Coca Cola neon sign no longer exists, but in the 1980's it dominated the Chicago skyline view from the highway. The John Hancock building can be seen on the left side of the image. The flashing, blurred lights in the foreground depict moving vehicles on the expressway. This is a pop culture image of one of America's more notable icons-Coca Cola. The artist often passed by this side of Chicago in his car viewing the skyline and the Coca Cola sign in the 1980's. Rousonelos lived in Chicago from 1977-1999.Please contact Mr. Rousonelos with the purchase button or use Pay Pal for purchase of this masterpiece painting.
