I bought a Brush Pen, a kind of a fountain pen that has a brush instead of a nib but can use fountain pen ink. This 'Sailor' Profit Brush pen (or see it here) is fitted with a very flexible brush tip that goes from narrow to sweeping broad strokes with just the lightest bit of pressure.

The Sailor Brush Pen Perfect for artists and illustrators. It uses ink cartridges, wich means we do not need to carrying along us with a bottle of ink, and another bottle of clean water, cause it doesn't dryies when closed. It's an amazing portable Brush!

The following are my first experiences with it:

I always enjoy reading about other artists' experiences with various materials and tools. Your resulting sketch looks great! Caroline

I have one of those. It's different brand I think but I am having a devil of a time getting it to work consistently. Maybe because the cartridges are a million years old. When it cooperates, it's great for brush lettering and Chinese/Japanese characters. I need to get new cartridges.
