Latino paintings and prints that mirror the artistic mission of the We Are You Project, which is to provide a comprehensive, dynamic, and diverse insight into the current state of Latino socio-cultural, political, and economic conditions. The art exhibition reveals the struggles and triumphs of Latinos in the 21st Century. These issues are reflected in the works of thirty-three prominent contemporary Hispanic artists, whose trans-cultural pan-Latino roots derive from a dozen Ibero-American heritages, including Mexico, Puerto-Rico, Cuba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Spain and Portugal. Most importantly, each of the We Are You artists are concerned about the current state of Latino Civil Rights. This is evident in the socio-aesthetic aspirations of the We Are You Project visual artists, which include: Jose Acosta, Efren Alvarez, Nelson Alvarez, Willie Baez, Josephine Barreiro, Hugo X.
