This original work of art is based on the famous "Venus of Willendorf" fertility figure. It is done in encaustic (beeswax/damar resin) with mixed media. I have "etched" the figure into the wax, and added powdered pigment and graphite. The final result is stunning! This piece needs no framing and is ready to hang.
