Biography
I was born in the Philippines and migrated to Australia with wife Lynda and 5 Children in 1979. I started drawing before I could write and worked as a cartoonist and illustrator for various Philippine publications at 16.I am basically a self taught painter, allthough I have attended one year in a school of fine arts at the University Of the Philippines. At age 24 I shifted to painting and has been painting up to the present.As a full time artist, I run workshops and art demonstrations around Victoria and joins art shows and juried art exhibitions around Australia, where I have won over 150 arts awards and commendations. I work in all mediums but maintains narrative expressions in my subject matters. Not wanting to miss the joy of creations, I always try to alter different mediums and substrate to expand my skills.
