Art Blog - Jill Nassau

I'd like to introduce my new series of work which I have named Fauvisitic Landscapes. The ideas for these landscapes come from images where I live and I have traveled. Some of these images I have seen in dreams. The colors are not true to nature and have been jumbled in my mind. The painting I am using as an example is a cul de sac near where I live on a steet called Hideaway. I photographed this area last spring when the tree were first starting to bud.
