  • This is a great beach to stroll along in Co. Clare, Ireland, the dunes are absolutely amazing and mountains of Galway line the horizon to the north. Although the waters are too rough for a swim, you do see the occassional surfer.

  • In route to Linnane's Lobster Bar in New Quay, (Burren Island) Co. Clare Ireland, and straying a bit off track, I stumbled upon this scene at Finvarra Point at the edge of Galway Bay. The skies cleared after a light rain, casting hues of purple and yellow on the landscape. As the sun appeared, the marsh marigolds glistened in the fields and the bay sparkled with glints of light. It was an absolutley ethereal experience that I just had to capture on canvas.
