La Ruche Art Contemporary Consortium's Oasis Art Show
curated by Robert Rosado, Director, La Ruche Art Contemporary Consortium (LRACC)
An oasis is a refreshing isolated watering-hole, wherein life flourishes, within a barren wasteland. Usually these secluded fountainheads are fed by surging underground aquifers, artesian wells, or rainfall. Hence, this Union City La Ruche Art Contemporary Consortium (LRACC) exhibit within the William V. Musto Cultural Center is an invigorating 'visual-oasis,'flourishing outside the bounds of the bleak, sterile, and confining early 21st Century entrenched anti-art milieu. This new, highly innovative, and visionary LRACC art show is a font of visual refreshment, quenching the thirst of visually-dehydrated early-21st Century urban art-audiences parched beneath the sad tedium of today's dull and uninspired contemporary art-scene. The current flat, monotonous, and visually comatose 2014 metropolitan-area art scene unhappily reflects a general overemphasis on novelty, commercialization, conceptual art, ultra-minimalism, socio-politics, bureaucracy, money, hyper-technology or excessive heavy-handed curating. Thus, this landmark pro-art La Ruche Art Contemporary Consortium art show provides a unique "world view," which exalts human creativity, artistry, and art; instead of the usual ingrained and entrenched perpetual "Neo-Dada" "aformalist" fare that sadly dominates most early-21st Century visual art in Manhattan, London, Paris, Barcelona and Milan. Hence, LRACC's new, revolutionary, and refreshing Oasis art show places fresh emphasis on Beauty, creativity, imagination, visual-power, spirituality and love; thereby sparking for the first time in the 21st Century an overwhelming aesthetic concern for sublimity, passion, emotion, vision, imagination, and Amnesis, along with a desire to forge an ultra-humanistic visual-connection with humanity.
