Cuban Arts Heading to Manhattan
This year we will be able to view and enjoy many Cuban art creations, music, dance and films. From March to June of 2011 the Si Cuba arts venues will be in NYC for more info please visit http://sicuba.org/en. In addition there will be plenty of Art exhibitions featuring Cuban & Cuban American visual artists throughout the tri state area. Cubarte NY continues to exhibit locally in Harlem and throughout NYC, QbaVa Gallery in Union City exhibits Cuban art with monthly exhibits. The New York Times had a wonderful article about Cuban Arts that will Wow New York. So if you have never been to a Cuban art event please plan your visit and enjoy the art, music and dance that I am sure will bring a smile to your face. I also hope some of these venues will have Cuban food so all guests will be able to enjoy the full experience. Others who have already attended Cuban art events already know how much fun they are and I am sure are already marking their calendars. I will also be creating and exhibiting my Cuban American art exhibits this year and will be having Solo shows in Stamford, CT (April), and Fleishman's, NY (July). I do believe that all these exhibitions and fairs will bring more recognition to Cuban & Cuban American Artists and I am grateful to all the Sponsors and organizations that make this possible. A special thanks goes out to Shelley & Donald Rubin and Alan Boss for there constant support of the Cuban Arts.
