I am self taught in photography. Through the years I have worked in black & white and color wet darkrooms and now I am digital only. I work includes abstract, landscape, still life, and commercial/stock food & drink imagery. 2 comments


Photography is my avocation. My images are from things that interest me. My Agate Abstracts collection shown here results from my interest in rocks and fossils. My other areas of interest include landscapes, florals, sports, and the urban landscape of the independent businessman. My urban landscapes of the successes and failures of the independent businessman is an ongoing project involving travel through small town America photographing the business places of both the successful and failed independent entrepreneur.

Current 2008 exhibitions:

My black & white Urban Landscape images "No More Credit", "Eagle Repair Shop" and "The Fish Hut" have been selected for exhibition March 8 through April 20, 2008 during FOTOFEST-Houston at 2500 Summer Street Gallery. Juror was Clint Willour, curator of the Galveston Arts Center, Galveston, Texas.

My still life image "The Marshal's Office" and Agate Abstract "Into the Void" were chosen by jury for online one year exhibition and submission to galleries by American Juried Art Salon -Dallas, Texas.

Past exhibitions 2007:

My landscape image "Utah Aspens" was selected by jury for exhibition in the gallery and online in the 2007 Members Show at The Center for Fine Art Photography, Fort Collins, Colorado, November 16 through December 21, 2007.

My Agate Abstract image "Into the Void" was selected by juror for inclusion in a multimedia visual presentation for the opening of The Red Show on October 6, 2007 at The Darkroom Gallery in New Orleans, Louisiana.

More than 20 of my landscape, floral and still life images were on exhibition June through August, 2007 at The Remington at Valley Ranch Senior Community in Valley Ranch, Texas.

Landscape images "North Shore Surf", "Pacific Sunset", and "Leaving Oslo" selected for exhibition and sale at Studio 2600, Dallas, Texas.
