My passion and mission in creating art is to illustrate the spiritual process, facilitating a sense of healing a hopefulness. Utilizing a variety of media such as charcoal, pastels, inks and paints, allow me the tools necessary to interpret and express the process into visual works of art. Add Comment


My work has shown in solo and group exhibits and juried shows. Select pieces have been included in books and national journal publications. As a participating author in Sigma Theta Tau's HeArt of Nursing 1st edition I was interviewed for my work with art and healing. In 2004, I was invited to author a chapter for The HeArt of Nursing 2nd edition. I have been the recipient of Sigma Theta Tau's 2004 National Pinnacle Award Public Media Art for a series of work titled, ______"I Grieve An Application of the Expressive Arts to the Grieving Process_______ and the 2003 International Pinnacle Award and 2002 National Pinnacle Award for a series exploring addictions and recovery titled, ______"Metamorphosis the Road to Recovery._______

As an expressive arts facilitator, I have worked with various ages and populations in both hospital and community based health care setting exploring issues of body, mind and spirit. I have lectured locally and nationally on arts and healing and participated in national arts and healing conferences.
