Everyday I discover something new. For instance, I discovered artid while surfing the web, and I was so impressed with it that I joined. My interest in art goes back for a long way. I was first interested in fiber arts and fabric arts and I still have many examples of crocheting, knitting, sewing, and cross stitch. I learned to crochet when I was seven years old and very much enjoyed making gifts for other people. Now I have taken up painting, in acrylic, oils, watercolor, and pastel. One of my first paintings to sell was a small pastel, entitled Mothers' Flowers. It was purchased by a man from Athens, Alabama. I enjoy the time I spend painting and the time I spent with other people. I sincerely hope you as a visitor to my blog, also enjoy your visit, and the time you spend with your friends and family.
