Biography
Eli has been drawing and creating since he was a young kid, but began doing photo-realistic artwork in July of 2008 while living in Wautoma, Wisconsin. By the time he moved back to Milwaukee, in April of 2010, his portraiture skills, of which he is most recognized for, had increased enough that he was able to turn what began as just a hobby and a deep love of art, into a fledgling business doing commissioned fine art pieces for customers throughout the country. In addition to his photo-realistic pencil portraits, he has also gained recognition for his mechanical/sci-fi art where he creates robots and places them in places and scenarios they have no worldly business in. Although he is currently most associated with doing photo-realism, and is available for fine art portrait commissions, he is also open to commissions on other types of large scale fine art. He has a strong foundation in drawing , painting, composition and color complemented by a strong creative and artistic nature.
