Blending Colors - Blues
This is the blending colors design. It is in many art forms, from pottery to knitting, but until now, not in indian basket weaving. This design which puts a contemporary flair on indian basket weaving, has a solid color on the top and bottom, and the two used simultaneously in the middle. Working full time only a few dozen of these can be made yearly, so all vases are limited edition. The vase has 3 rows per inch, with high density stitching (like high thread count), which makes the vase solid as a rock, without any flimsyness to it. Like some plants need shade, the light blue dye needs to be placed in a shaded or non sunlight area. Other than that, this vase is so sturdy the kids can play football with it, or it can be dropped or knocked over, and there will be no explaining to do.
