Hello everyone, I know its been sometime since my last contact. I travelled west back home to Dubbo in NSW for the last 3 days, spending some much loved time with my family. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dubbo Dubbo is the place I was born, I currently live in Sydney. I try to travel back home once every 6 months, although it has nearly been a year since my last travels there. My father and I took a lovely trip to Coonabarabran in NSW. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coonabarabran,_New_South_Wales Along the way in Mendooran http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mendooran we reached an old mural I painted with my late fellow budding Artists at the time, whilst studying Art back in 1998. I was surprised at the condition the mural was in after nearly 10 years + of weathering, I was impressed! 'Black Cockatoos', these creatures are native to Australia and travel in a flock of as little as 3 to as many as 200-300 in breeding season, they are just gorgeous, there are red-tailed, yellow-tailed and white-tailed colorings in their gorgeous feathers. There diet consists of feeding from the seeds of the 'Medicine Tree' or known as the Marri Tree. This Aboriginal Medicine is used as a disinfectant and stops bleeding from open wounds. These are the White-Tailed Black Cockatoos, the least aggressive of the Black Cockatoos, they live to reach about 25 years and are a rare sight to see. Take a look!
