Tracy DiTolla About

I am an artist and art historian. Add Comment

Tracy DiTolla works in various mediums but has a focus on collages and assemblages that include watercolor paintings. She sometimes uses experimental objects not usually thought of as fine art.

There are several recurring themes in all of her artwork such as mental illness, alcoholism, meditation and confusion about religious dogma.

She sometimes uses a humorous slant when dealing with serious issues. Her influences are Egon Schiele, Ray Johnson, Mark Rothko and Clyfford Still.

Tracy DiTolla has a BA in Art History with a minor in Studio Art from William Paterson University and a Master of Arts degree in Art History from Montclair University. She is planning on pursuing her PhD.
