Blue Moon Inn primitive folk art wooden sign

***Layaway Payment Plan is available for this item! Please email the artist for details!*** This is a wooden sign, made from a recycled piece of an old wooden dresser drawer. It was hand-painted by Les and completed in 2009. It is embellished with a jute hanger and homespun ribbon. Les does not use any stencils in her work, even for lettering. This piece was entirely painted by hand from the stars, moon and letters, to each square in the checkerboard border. It measures approximately 19.5 inches wide by 5.5 inches high. It is signed and dated on the back. It has been highly distressed for that primitive aged folk art look. This is a very old piece of wood. It has natural flaws such as small holes, small dents, cracks, flat spots, etc. which add to its character and charm. It has been coated with a protective matte finish.
