Springtime happens to be my very favorite time of the year! This is so for many reasons; the first being that I look at it as a time of renewal, a time of re-birth. It is the time of the year when the flowers are blooming, even here in the desert, and the birds are up earlier, thus so am I! Springtime means many things to me. It is when clocks are set forward, and we "Spring Ahead", rather than fall back. It is a time that I seem to have more energy just looking at all of the bright sunflowers and watching the tree's leaves return~ In any case, Spring also includes Easter, which is definitely a time for re-birth and renewal~It is a time for "New Life" I have always loved Doves. Today is a very special day in our family. It is not only Christmas Day, but it is also the day that my mother Anita was born. Mom passed on in 2006, but her heart and her spirit still lives on in each of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren today! Mom had nine children and was the type of mother who you always knew was there for you. Even if she had to work,she made sure that she was home when the kids got out of school;and if she couldn't be, then she would send our Aunt Alice over to pitch hit! That is the kind of Mom that my Mother was; loving, caring always a beautiful spirit gracing this earth with her unconditional love qnd support.
