The First Spring Egg
At my entryway, I have a setee, which has lots of pillows on it. This Spring since I was going to be traveling some, I took additional pillows from the chairs in my courtyard and added them to the ones on the setee. The entryway is enclosed from rain and weather and the courtyard is not. This apparently made it comfy for a Mama Dove to build her nest and to lay her first egg of Spring.
