"Best of Red"
I love this picture because I had to work really hard to get it. I call it the "Best of Red" because this was one of the best pictures that I was able to capture of a red cardinal in his own habitat;while I was in Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii. I spent over 4 long hours following this bird who just would not stay still long enough for me to get a good shot. Persistance paid off and I guess that I finally wore him out! He posed in perfect profile for me,as I finally snapped away~ This signed photograph is double matted in a bright yellow mat so that the red of my beautiful cardinal will stand out even more! I have also written an original Haiku to go with this photo~
