Deborah W. Campbell About
Biography
Deborah studied photography in the early 1970's, and began working with computer graphics about 10 years later. Her first computer didn't have a hard drive, but sported a whopping 128k (no, not MB!) of RAM, a color monitor and a light pen. Primitive indeed, by today's standards!
Well, that was several computers and a long time ago. Always learning, Deborah uses a variety of digital techniques with her images ~ the result may be quite painterly or true-to-life. All are digital prints on photographic or watercolor papers with pigment inks. She is one of a handful of lacrosse artists worldwide, capturing the action and grace of this ancient sport. Deborah's other subjects include Maryland scenes, island locations and her personal favorites: Tropical fish and other undersea critters she photographs while diving. Her work has been featured in several exhibits around the United States.
