Art Appreciations

Topics: artists and their work

I love opening to the ArtId home page and seeing what is new each day. Today I was particularly struck by Joe Ray Kelley's view of La Boca, Millie Gift Smith's forest scene, and Amberhearts Radio City Christmas Card.

I always find something to surprise and delight as the new work rotates through. That is one of the many benefits of being part of a group site rather than simply having a me-only website. I also value the advice the ArtId staff offers and becoming acquainted with so many other artists through their blogs. This isn't going anywhere very deep. I'm just taking a moment to appreciate.

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us that you are enjoying the site. We have had a great time getting to "know" our members and seeing the incredible work that shows up day after day. Monday mornings are always "Did you see the work so-and-so posted?" "Did you check out the new members?" It is an inspiration to all of us at artid.
We always wonder if other sites have the same sort of community we do, or interact with their members at all.
The best of the New Year to you!
