Sirin and Alkonost
«Koliadki» are the winter Ritual Slavic songs (Kolo is a mythological year circle, also Kolo is the name of the Arctic peninsula in Russia).Project was based on patterns from folk Russian and Ukrainian embroidery on sacred towels , traditional wooden window ornaments, stone and wooden folk sculpture. Project consists of series of graphic art works (24 pieces, 21 X 29 sm, watercolor, ink, collage on paper), Kolo Type, developed specially for the project, studies of the old Slavic Ornament and also series of printed art-works, where images are joined with texts of Koliadki Songs and embroidery
