Art and history blend together into my paintings. I have always used our American past for subject-matter to convey a feel for the warmth and charm of the antique furnishings, the rustic cabin, the old weathered decoys, the stoneware pottery. I was raised in western New York state where I developed a feel for the rustic country lifestyle, and nature. My college major was Art/painting with a minor in US History. I am married and have 2 children. We enjoy traveling and collecting antiques.
