Summer Splendor
Sample. This is the "portrait" of a garden in Shelburne Falls, at the end of August. The colors were so vibrant, and the foliage so lush that I cold not resist taking a picture and painting it when I returned to my studio. I relished in the details and textures of the leaves and various flowers. This is the largest work I have ever painted: it is 48 X 36, but I have done lots of other garden portraits of smaller sizes.This one is gallery wrapped and ready to hang.
